Pick Your Own and Shop closed for season but reopens in May 2012
Our main Pick Your Own and Shop has now closed for the season We plan to be open in 2012 around Mid April when we have our first Asparagus. Thank you for visiting us in 2012 and we hope to have a few new ideas for the coming years.

Bags of Potatoes available direct from the farm.
Potatoes in 25kg and 12.5kg bags are available direct from the farm. Varieties are Saxon, Mozart (a red potato) and Wilja. Prices are £6 for 25kg and £3.50 for 12.5kg. They are available from the farm buildings, opposite the PYO entrance, Monday to Friday 7.30am until about 4.30pm. Though the farm buildings will be closed from Christmas day until about the 7th January (20/12/2011)
If you are a Farm shop, Local Shop or Wholesaler Rectory Farm offers larger volumes of Potatoes. They can be delivered in our vans. Varieties are Saxon, Wilja, and Mozart. Bag sizes are 25kg, 12.5kg or even 7.5kg or 5kg. Generally they are unwashed as they keep better but we can offer washed potatoes too. Contact us by email or phone. (20/12/2011)
Rectory Farm were one of the three finalists in the PYO of the Year as awarded by FARMA (National Farmers' Retail and Markets Association) and they should know.) We didn't quite make the top spot again this year but we will be hoping to get there in 2011. (27/03/2011)
Rectory Farm grow a wide range of soft fruits, vegetables, and potatoes. Pick Your Own is what we are renowned for but Ready picked produce directly from the farm is increasing in popularity and you will find this available whenever it is in season. Rectory Farm is now only open from April to October as we have failed in our planning application to be open for longer. We therefore no longer grow "winter crops". Product direct from the farm comes fresh as you'll get it with quality second to none.
Visiting Rectory Farm in Stanton St John is an enjoyable experience, particularly for families. Not only do you get to feel as though you have got back to the land, while you pick strawberries or asparagus, but there is a bouncy castle and slide for the children, a decent, competitively-priced café, and our ready picked selection ie a greengrocer's. We supply wholesale to many local customers and further afield. Whether you are a retailer, caterer, restaurant or just want a large quantity for an Event or Party we can provide all this ready picked direct from the farm. Individually negotiated prices apply for these larger quantities. Please call Paul on 07966 246388 to discuss and book larger quantities. For strawberries we supply in 454gm punnets in returnable outer trays. A 454gm punnet is enough for 4 people, you'll be quite generous at that, depending upon what else is on offer. You can collect the day of your event as it is important to have fruit as fresh as possible and it will be kept well chilled in our cold store.
Strawberries and Raspberries make an excellent party dish , so simple to arrange and very little hassle to prepare, and it always goes down well with everyone. We supply only Jersey cream, excellent quality and really brings out the flavour of strawberries and raspberries, but for larger quantities of ordinary cream you'll be better at a supermarket.
