Weekend programme
Really looking forward to seeing you all this weekend, if I may, a few notes to help settle you in for a super weekend.

The club will be open from 4:30pm Friday afternoon. Paula and I will be arriving to prepare for the weekend, the club will be open warm and welcoming, the bar will be open and bar snacks available. Paula and I will be on site throughout to help you should you need us. The gates should be open throughout, however, if you find them locked please call me on 07899 062815, whatever time, and I'll open them or give you the combination code. If you plan to arrive on Friday please text me you name and estimated arrival time, you are welcome to camp both Friday and Saturday evening if necessary.

Saturday coaching will start at 10:30am, please have your boats rigged and ready, but, please wait for the instructors to tell you when to get changed. Coaching on Saturday will finish at 5:30pm. The BBQ will be lit around 6pm, and will be available throughout the evening, so cook individually on the communal BBQ and eat when you like. Jon will be starting his evening talk at 7:30pm, he will also have the following books available at a special event price of 10 each: Tactics Made Simple; Coach Yourself To Win; Training To Win; Golden Lily. A great way to treat yourself and have it signed by the man himself.

The bar will be open until late, and a fun evening is guaranteed, bring your mobile phones as word has it Richard may have a special quiz too. The forecast looks great for Saturday, a few spits and spots should disappear for about 4pm, clear skies meaning a dry BBQ, drinks on the veranda overlooking the lake, and good company. All the club facilities will be open throughout for those camping over.

Sunday will see 4 races in which you can practice your new skills. 1st race will start at 11am, race 1 & 2 will be sailed back to back. Races 3 & 4 will also be run back to back after lunch, starting at 2pm. Followed swiftly by our prize giving, sponsored by Sailing Chandlery.

Our very own Jayne and Steve Tatton will be serving lunch on both Saturday and Sunday at a reasonable price of 5 each. Jayne & Steve make an awesome lunch which is probably the main reason our winter Barrel series is so popular. Paula and I will be serving breakfast from 8:30am on both Saturday and Sunday, simple but wholesome bacon or sausage baps with egg if required, 1.50 each, extra 50p for an egg. All we ask is you 'bring your own BBQ and picnic bits for Saturday evening.

One final thing!, we are taking entries on the day, so, if you know someone who wants to come along, please encourage them and share the details. Alex, if Mike wants to join in he can use my Laser?

It's going to be a fantastic weekend, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.

See your transoms on the water,
