De-Shrimping Process

Those who were at the Inlands last year or regularly sail at GWSC will know all about the Killer Shrimp problem at the reservoir which means we must all abide with the club’s washdown procedure.

The Environment Agency has placed strict controls on GWSC which require each dinghy, sailor and RIB to be thoroughly washed down before they leave the site at the end of any sailing event.

GWSC are well practised at this routine and have created wash down points for both dinghies and RIBS – please cooperate with the volunteers who will be manning the washdowns and be patient! (Very, very patient if we don't have enough volunteers to help - please sign up on the volunteer rota!)
