(22/08/2019) Venue information The Late Summer Championships are being held at Draycote Water Sailing Club. Information from DWSC on arrival, car parking, campervans and caravans, dogs, catering and site access. (12/08/2019) Volunteer for a duty at the LSC The volunteer duty sign-up sheet is now open. We need all families to help out over the weekend - please sign up for a duty as soon as possible to ensure the event runs efficiently and smoothly. There are duties ashore and on-the-water. (06/08/2019) LSC online entry open. The online entry for the LSC 18 is now open. Please note that an entry is only confirmed with full payment of the entry fee. When completing the GoCardless Paylink add in the name of the sailor on the form. (11/07/2019) Qualify for a national level winter squad The Late Summer event forms part of the IOCA Summer Series that is used for winter training squad selection (the other events are the Inlands and the End of Seasons). For more information on being selected for a Squad have a look at the 2019 - 2020 RYA/IOCA (UK) Squad Selection Policy document on the right under Selection Policies. As such we encourage entry to this event if you are hoping to qualify for a national level winter squad. You should probably not enter if you have not yet participated in an RYA zone squad or Home Country Squad, and it is probably not the event to switch to main fleet for the first time. Please refer to the entry and eligibility criteria in the NOR in order to gain a ranking to quality for a national level winter squad. (09/07/2019) IOCA Pre Event Training IOCA (UK) will be running a day of open training on 30th August 2019 at Draycote Water with Sarah Jarman and Nick Devereux. Sarah and Nick will also be on hand during the event to support sailors. The training will be for a limited number of sailors and places will be accepted on a first come first served basis. Please be advised that your entry is not confirmed until payment has been received.
