Online entry for Late Summers 2021 The online entry for the IOCA UK Late Summer Championships 2021 is open and the late payment date has been delayed until 3rd September (29/08/2021) Venue information The IOCA UK late Summer Championships are being held at Poole Yacht Club. (26/11/2020) Campervans at Poole YC There is space for a few smaller campervans. Requests for parking at the club can be sent to Anne.Eaton@pooleyc.co.uk including: - Name - Contact Mobile Telephone - Postal Address - Vehicle Registration - Length of vehicle Parking for larger motor homes is normally available at the Poole Harbour Commissioners carpark PHC. It cannot be booked here but if you turn up and there’s space in the car park (click title for map) you can camp overnight. Take a ticket at the barrier and pay when you leave. All contact to go through PYC and if needed they will contact PHC. (17/08/2021) Early arrival for pre event training If you are arriving early to go sailing prior to the event all sailors and coaches must book in advance and report to the PYC office before going afloat. The current charge for visiting dinghies is £18 per day and the slip fee for Visitor RIBS/Spectator boats is also £18 per day. (Please note we do not supply fuel for visiting RIBs.) For coaches wishing to hire our RIBs the cost is £111 per day including fuel. To monitor who is on the premises, we would ask that full details are provided in advance detailing when the Coaches would like to come, their contact addresses and telephone numbers, details of their vehicles including registration numbers and full list of names and contact details of those being coached. Rib FleetRib Sign-up sheet This is where to register your RIB, if you would like to bring one to the event. If you do not have a RIB and want to get on the water, please sign up here also for crew spots. RIB Crew Volunteer Sign Up Sheet This is where to register if you do not have a RIB and want to get on the water as a RIB crew. Event DocumentsIOCA Major Event Instructions The Major Event Instructions are used for all IOCA (UK) events. Tread the MEIs in conjunction with the SSIs. There is no separate Notice of Race. All the event information is contained in the Major Event Istructions. Main Fleet Flight Lists The Main Fleet are divided into 4 flights Red. White Blue & Yellow. Flight Ribbons will be availble to collect from Saturday morning at the front of the club. Tally Number List Tally bands are ORANGE for Main Fleet and BLUE for Regatta fleet. There will be two Tally Boards. Write down your Tally Number.
