Zero Coaching Protocol Explanation (Click Here)

As a reminder, MEIs Attachment F - Protocol for a zero-coaching Event applies to the Selection Trials, it is extremely important that sailors and parents, support persons fully understand the implications of this, we recommend sailors, parents and support persons familiarize themselves with Attachment F, however to help with understanding of what is or is not allowed, we have produced a guide to supplement the MEIs Attachment F, please click above to view it.

Due to COVID there are some further restrictions during this event as follows:

- Sailors must have all their food and water bottle in one bag that can be handed to them by the rib crew and then taken back before they race - i.e. rib crews will only be able to pass one item to a sailor.

- Sailors time alongside the rib will be very limited, they should expect to be passed their food and the rib will move off immediately, to the next sailor, with the reverse occurring when they pass food back to the rib.

- In the event sailors require some assistance with repairs, the close contact with the rib crew will be longer, hence the sailor may be asked to wear a face covering, ideally all sailors will have a face covering they can wear with them, but if this is not the case then they will be handed one by the rib crew.
