Following a decision at this years IOCA (UK) AGM, stickers and other marks that are advertising are prohibited on an Optimist at this event. Measurement and Technical


Measurement Requirements
MAIN FLEET

Sails, spars and foils must be measured before arriving at the event.
Please bring to registration your IODA log book and your RYA Measurement certificate. You will also be asked for evidence of a buoyancy test taken place within the previous 12 months.

REGATTA FLEET
You will be asked for evidence of a buoyancy test taken place within the previous 12 months.

Advertising Rules
At the 2nd August 2011 IOCA AGM a decision was made to reject a proposal that would allow branding or advertising marks on boats. Regulations banning such marks will be enforced.
