Regatta Fleet

There are still places in all fleets, so please go ahead and sign up.

After many years of running the regatta fleets at the Nationals, Fiona Baddeley has decided to step down. The regatta fleets are a phenomenal success and much of this is due to all the hard work Fiona has put in over the years. This year I am taking over the reins and looking forward to working with you all to make the 2012 Nationals another huge success.

Coaches and assistants: Fiona will continue to co-ordinate the coaching this year, and has already been in contact with many of those who are keen to be involved this year. We have already been contacted by a lot of potential assistants, but are still looking for more coaches. For those who are interested, please contact me at the email address below.

Ribs: Finding enough ribs for the regatta fleet is always a challenge. If you are thinking about bringing a rib to help out with regatta fleet this year, it would be helpful if you could let me know now – so I know how big a challenge I have...

Volunteers: As always, making the event a success relies on a large number of parents helping out. We are looking for a new regatta fleet beach master, as Michelle Gent has now taken over regional training. If anyone else would like to give me a hand with the preparation before the event, please get in touch. The roster for volunteering to help at the event will go up on the website in due course.

Camper Van spaces filled

If you were intending to take a campervan to the Nationals this year but have not yet booked a space at Pwllheli Sailing Club I'm sorry to report that the spaces available have now been filled.
With just 40 spaces available this year the take up was very quick (just a week).
Apologies for any disappointment this may cause.
