Regatta fleet SI guide
A guide to Regatta Fleet Sailing Instructions

Which Regatta Fleet?
This document is for those sailors who are not sure which fleet to enrol into at the Optimist National Championships. It does not form part of the Notice of Race and is just intended to be supplementary advice. Before reading this, you should read the entry conditions set out in the Notice of Race, to see which fleets you are eligible for.

Under 8 Policy
We have had several younger sailors who have taken part in Regatta Fleet at the Nationals in recent years. They have learned an enormous amount during the week, made some great friends, and had a fantastic time. We would like to continue to welcome younger sailors, and hope that you find this a useful guide to deciding whether your sailor is ready to come and join us.

IOCA Grades Are Changing
This year, IOCA (UK) has brought out a brand new Log Book. In case you are not sure which Log Book you have, and what is required for entry to Regatta Fleet at the Nationals this year, we have set out what the new/old levels are and what you need to have done.

Regatta Registration Form
Please could all Regatta Fleet Parents download, complete and bring the form to registration.

What to Bring
