(02/09/2014) Welcome BBQ - PreOrder your Tickets Now We have some delicious food for the opening BBQ on Sunday night (3rd August). Food will be served from 4pm onwards, and we would encourage Regatta Fleet sailors and parents to eat early, before the Main Fleet return to shore. Each Option comes with potato salad, coleslaw & mixed leaves. Sailors tickets are heavily discounted but must be pre-booked. ALL BBQ tickets (sailors and supporters) must be pre-ordered and paid for (International sailors/supporters can pay in cash at Registration - all other payments through goCardless) Tickets should be collected at registration. Note: Due to the numbers involved for the BBQ, no other catering will be available at WPNSA on Sunday evening. However, the bar will be open. ORDER TICKETS HERE (29/07/2014) Evening Meals The caterers at WPNSA will be offering evening meals: Saturday evening (18:00-19:30)in the Cafeteria Monday - Friday Evenings (17:30 - 19:00) in Spinnakers Sunday BBQ - pre-ordered tickets only. Menu available in the event information documents. Pre-ordering will be available during registration and daily from reception. Please order before 12noon to guarantee supper! Purchases on the night - subject to availability. The bar will be open in Spinnakers each evening - except Saturday as there is a wedding at WPNSA. (29/07/2014) WPNSA General Visitor Info We have been asked to draw your attention to the following points: Car Parking Parking is free and we ask that cars are parked in the designated car parking spaces. The dinghy park must be kept vehicle free for the safety of all pedestrians and to maximize boat space. Drying Room After you have been on the water feel free to use our drying room, located opposite the changing rooms this will be left open for your convenience. Please note that leaving items in here is done at your own risk. Lockers Before you head out on the water, feel free to use our lockers to keep all your valuables safe. You can obtain a locker key from reception. You will be required to leave a £10 refundable deposit. Cafeteria During the event the cafeteria will be open from 8am each morning, and throughout the day serving lunches and also suppers from 17:30 to 19:00 most evenings (see daily menu). Children Children under 10 are only permitted on the premises if accompanied at all times by an adult. Please remember that you are responsible for all children you bring onto the WPNSA site. Skateboards/Scooters Skateboards, scooters or similar are not to be used anywhere on site. Dogs Dogs are permitted on site but must be kept on a lead and any mess must be cleared away immediately. Chandlery Mark Barnes runs Weymouth Sailsports from our site and offers a range of onsite chandlery services, catering for the needs of the dinghy sailor. If so, we'd like to hear from you as soon as possible. Currently, waiting lists are in operation for all regatta fleets. Priority will be given to sailors whose parents/clubs support the fleet by providing a rib (because this enables us to offer places to sailors other than themselves). Reminder: Optimist Painters Reminder: Mainsheet Clips Buoyancy Tests The buoyancy test is a requirement in the IODA class rules under 3.2.7 Buoyancy: 3.2.7.4 The owner is responsible at all times for the buoyancy and for ensuring that at intervals of not more than 12 months the buoyancy is tested and the measurement certificate endorsed by a measurer or a responsible club officer.
