Registration & Measurement

With over 300 sailors to register in just 80 minutes we'd like registration to run as smoothly as possible. Please don't leave registration and/or measurement issues until 10am!

Details about measurement requirements for all fleets are published in the right hand document list (please scroll down).

Buoyancy tests should have been carried out on or after 13th October 2013 to be valid for this event.

It would be great if all your documents are in order but, if you notice your buoyancy test is out of date on Saturday morning, or you discover you've left all the documents on the kitchen table, or you are sailing in Main Fleet and have any problems with equipment that is not measured please visit the friendly bunch of measurers at the Measurement Table before joining the registration queue.

Volunteers Needed

Following a small technical glitch the Volunteer Rota is now back up and running. Please sign up for a duty as soon as possible.

There is a role for EVERYONE: on the water, off the water, with sailing experience or without, all day - both days or just a few hours at a time, whether you are a lone parent, have non-sailors, or this is your first event. Some of the roles are also suitable for non-sailing or older siblings. None of the roles are too onerous but all are absolutely essential for the smooth running of the event.

If you're new to IOCA events they are a great way to meet other parents and get to know the sailors, it's great to be involved and it's great fun! If you'd like details about any of the roles, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

For those seasoned IOCA event attendees your expertise and continued support is greatly appreciated!

Please take a look and see where you might be able to help out. Volunteer Here

To all those who have already signed up or who are helping as part of the race management/safety/results teams - THANK YOU - we couldn't do it without you!

Regatta & Transition Fleets - Entry limit increased

Please remember that places are only secured upon receipt of payment.  (24/09/2014)

RIBs shortage in Transition/Regatta Fleet

We are looking for 2 RIBs to support Transition/Regatta Fleet. We have experienced volunteers who are willing to drive the RIBs at the event, so you would not have to go on the water if you don't want to. If you have a RIB that you could bring to the EOS, please contact Gillian Schonrock (gillian@schonrocks.com).

Both fleets are almost full, based on the current RIB support. We will increase numbers once we have RIBs to support additional sailors.

(19/09/2014)

Regatta Fleet Entry limit increased

The entry limit for the Regatta Limit has been increased from 15 to 30 sailors.

Transition Fleet - New for EOS this year!

The aim of this fleet is to provide competitive racing for sailors who no longer need the close supervision of regatta fleet without requiring the full leap to the main fleet.

Any questions, please contact Gillian Schonrock, gillian@schonrocks.com.
