Amendment to NORs

We have posted an amendment to the NORs, changing the opening time of registration to 3pm on the Saturday. The registration and measurement process for all fleets has been posted - see section on right hand side.  (08/07/2015)

Interested in mark laying?

We will be running some mark laying training on the Lay Day (Wednesday), for anyone who would like to learn to mark lay, or brush up their skills.
There will be a sign-up list on the Notice Boards.

Table Top Sale

Tuesday 28th July
We will be running a table top sale on Tuesday afternoon - £5 a table, with proceeds going to the John Merrick Trust, so remember to bring your second hand sailing clothes/kit along to sell
In addition, we will sell off all the lost property collected but not claimed during the year.

Buddy system extended

Buddy system extended
The Buddy System is for sailors competing in Main Fleet and not already connected to a RIB in the safety fleet. Sailors will be allocated a RIB that they can visit between races, deposit their lunch and receive moral support while they are on the water.

We are extending the buddy system to all sailors in Main Fleet, who are not already supported by a RIB/coach boat. Priority will be given to sailors who are sailing in Main Fleet for the first time.

Volunteer Lunches

Volunteer Lunches
Lunches will be provided for all non-parent volunteers, plus all parent volunteers in race management who attend the Race Management meetings. There is no need to pre-sign up.

Catering

The Galley at the Academy will be open for breakfast from 08.00 - 10.00, lunch from 12.00
- 14.00 and evening meals from 18.00 - 21.30 with a quality menu and daily specials.
BBQs and Lamb Roast will be available on certain evenings. Additionally the clubroom will
serve soft drinks, ice creams and snacks throughout the day from 10.00 to 17.00

We will be trialling a Buddy System for sailors competing in the Main Fleet for the first time and not already connected to a RIB in the safety fleet. 3rd Party Insurance


Noble Marine Insurance

If you require 3rd Party Insurance for the event please contact our insurance partners Noble Marine directly via the Noble Marine Website to complete the on line proposal form.

The premium is £26.50 GBP for the event for a third party indemnity of £5,000,000, with no refunds being applicable for termination of the policy. When payment has been made on line, sailors will be able to print off their own policy.
