News

ATTENTION Competition for all Optimist sailors to this weekend’s Inlands.

We are running a competition to win ‘a family ticket for 4’ to this summer’s America’s Cup World Series in Portsmouth.
The Race Village tickets are for Friday 22nd July and offers close-up views of the racing and the benefit of large screens broadcasting action with live racing commentary, on-board footage, audio and amazing graphics. Pre and post racing the main stage will feature expert insight and analysis from the competing teams. Interactive content highlights includes the ‘Tech Zone’, opportunities to meet the America’s Cup heroes in ‘The Team Zone’, covered retail area called ‘The Marketplace’ and cool bars and food zones.
For more event info: http://www.lvacwsportsmouth.com

To be in with the chance of winning you have to enter the ‘Victory trophies’ competition. Full entry instructions click on the title.

Please hand in your finished design to John Perham in the Race Office at Grafham this weekend and the winner will be announced at the Sunday prize giving. All entries will also be entered in the national competition to have their design potentially made into the Portsmouth ‘Victories Trophy’.

420 Try a Boat at the Inlands

Directly after sailing on Saturday look for the two 420s and go along to try this great next option.
This is open to all 14 and 15 year old sailors and we will have a great time getting some of you out in a 420 for your first time. There’s no charge.

Ask Steve Irish or Richard Baker for details or better still just find us straight after sailing on Saturday.
